Villa Lotus

Lotus Villa is located in the western end of the traditional village Prines overlooking the White Mountains, the Cretan Sea and wild oak trees. A retreat of privacy bathed in the scent of jasmine, honeysuckle, evening primrose and levander. You hear only the chirp of the birds and you are only 300 m from restaurants with delicious local food and the center of the village, 2,5 km from the nearest beach and 5 km from the picturesque town of Rethymno.

Ground Floor

• It comprises a spacious sitting room with a fireplace and a stone traditional arch on the ceiling which separates the living room from the diving room and the kitchen.
• The sitting room incorporates, among others, a library, two traditional sofas, which can become single beds, satellite TV LCD 42" and DVD.
• The dinning room can accommodate up to 10 persons.
• The ergonomic kitchen is fully equipped with all necessities including an electric cooker with 4 cooking places and an oven, an extractor, a refrigerator, a dish washer, a coffee machine, boiler, microwave oven, blender, kettle, toaster, cooking utensils.
• In the basement, there is also a bedroom with 2 single beds, small office, large wardrobes and a bathroom with a shower.
• In the garden, jasmines, honeysuckles, rosemaries, lavenders, laurels, climbing roses, cyclamens, anemones and other local cretan flowers and herbs create an idyllic scenery for relaxation all year round.
• Around the outdoor swimming pool of dimension 7,50X3,50 m2, there are deck chairs and a casual dinning place, while there is an outdoor shower and a parking place for two cars.

First Floor

The first floor comprises two bedrooms with double beds and spacious wardrobes, which can facilitate the stay for long periods of the year, a complete bathroom with a bath tub, a cloth washing machine and a veranda with a magnificent view towards the surrounding mountains and the Cretan north sea.

Ideal for couples, families with children of all ages and companions of friends. You can relax and let the owner to introduce you to the customs and rituals of real Crete and guide you in the exploration of the historical, cultural and religious places. As a nature lover and cyclist she will acquaint you with the unspoiled Crete and as a hostess she, together with her associates, will take care of everyday concerns.

Because of its central position on the island of Crete, from LOTUS villa you can explore all the island (as well as Santorini island) by daily excursions.
